Lilian Cooper Flashcard series When I first learned to read I was introduced to Flashcards. To learn the name of each object, the card was stuck next to the object in question. This series is inspired by those early memories and the need to give everything a named identity, seen and unseen. "Flashcards" comes from my 6 X 8 meter back garden. The garden was a 17th century harbor area and the ground is still filled with lead, mercury and whatever else was dumped over the centuries. These are the final photographs in the series.
