Born: Haifa, Israel; Aug. 31, 1946; US Citizen.
Education: Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY; Environmental Design and Film; 1964-1968.
Artist, eco-systems designer, tele-community planner, writer and cultural activist.
Executive Director of the Davis Community Network and Yolo Area Regional Network; on the Board
of the U.S. Association for Community Networking. Founding Program Director of the Telluride Institute,
and InfoZone and Deep West Arts Programs, Telluride, Colorado, 1985-1996.
Public art works, paintings, sculpture, video, photo, audio, installation and performances since 1968,
have pioneered in areas of art, science, community and technology interaction, with a primary focus on
the cultural and ecological implications of the emerging 'information society'.
