Biography

Roux is the daughter of a pharmacologist. Before earning her M.F.A., she worked as a geobotanist's assistant in the Kalahari and Namib Deserts of Africa.

Currently, Roux is preparing for a Fall 2004 residency sponsored by the Andy Warhol Preserve and The Nature Conservancy.

Recently, Roux created a small fold out book titled Society of Plants which integrates her landscape photography with her narrative installation projects. This book has been accepted at a number of museums and libraries for their Artists' Book Collection.
